Because i hate myself

Is it fun playing with such reason? I'm having fun being competitive and playing with friends but being competitive makes you tilt easier

then learn to be calm, i learned to be calm by meditation while im dead or while finding a match

Because i want to climb.

i used to play dota because i had fun playing it
now i play dota because i play dota - it's just a daily routine

Playing dota to relieve stress is the stupidest shit I've ever imagined a sane human to do. Dota gives more stress than relieve it.

I guess Dota just became an everyday chore or obligation, if you will. It's like dota is just somethig I just have to do. Sad.

I tried to relieve myself by playing dota well it did but i'm now stressing about dota lmao

Because it's hard, it's interesting, and every game is a unique test of your abilities. It challenges you to be better when it crushes you with stomps, and makes you feel invincible after a comeback.

And it's a good pastime.

Besides having fun, playing dota could gives u something to talk with ur friends

Mostly to have a topic to talk to with friends. I also like looking at the green marks on the recent matches

Actually, I have become Valve's pawn. I only play because of the Battle Pass lately.

I do the same, but instead of pointless meditation (no offense), I just grab my medkit and pack a nice fat bowl to smoke. Yes, I put my pipe, lighter, and ganjah in a little medkit. It's adorable.

Another thing that helps, is if I am losing and all hope is gone for the win, I still preform my best since stats matter and if I am going to lose and I know the match is over, I still try and at least have fun with my defeat. (e.g. Lion Skull Basher)

I'm addicted

im good and enjoy it while playing.

Its fun to get a 7 winstreak to then go straight into an 11 lose streak. Tbh idk how my winrate is even above 50% sometimes xD

to waste some time

dota kinda teaches you how to be calm if you focus on it and not tilting 24/7, if you dont tilt at dota u dont tilt at anything

I found the real reason why I love dotes: I'm a masochist and I torture myself with 6 hours of dotes

because its moba better than LoL like LoL only does is pretty effects no skill and dota 2 requires skill and not really that pretty.

For fun especially if everybody starts flaming each other, that is where the real fun starts haha.
