So he has 1128W - 867L record on Meepo in ranked.
That gives 261 surplus matches assuming each match was worth the same MMR on average lost or gained.
Now assuming standard 25 MMR gained/lost from each match on average only from Meepo games adds up to 6525 MMR gained.
But he has sup 50% win rate literally on 80% of any other hero he plays :O
To your question:
If Invoker is best against Meepo that doesn't mean Meepo is worst against Invoker, he has like 30 worse "counters."
Meepo is not a hero that builds bkb, euls or force staff. To an excellent exort voker, you're just a free Chaos Meteor. A low leveled Cold Snap is also enough to cancel your poof.
His cc AoE kit is still relevant to help the team deal with a meepo.
The wave is amazing as an AoE disarm, ice wall + snap prevents the focused meepo from poofing out, [...]
He doesn't dumpster a snowballing meepo but can reduce his impact if executed decently in a teamfight.
@pensive could equally argue that invoker could have ganked the jungling meepo early in the game slowing his timings, killed him while roshing with minimal risk to himself.
Personally think this matchup is definitely easier to execute as meepo as he has one game plan, whilst the invoker needs to recognize this and shut him down which is slightly more difficult to pull off.
Invoker is good vs Meepo, but that doesnt mean in patch 7.25 Invoker is good enough to beat Meepo :\
Its like saying just because Medusa is good vs Lycan, it will win every game against it, its just that Meepo is op ATM and Invoker is not
Meepo can come 20 minutes with Etheral blink and Vyse and kill Invoker(and any other counter)

lina pos 4, jakiro pos 5 are good counters too meepo too, without any farm.

You seem to be forgetting that 90% of people that play this game are below Anshit rank, looking at overall dotabuff stats is un realistic to what is actually good or bad within half decent players. Invoker gets out paced as fuck by Meepo, he has 0 trouble laning against him and once he comes online with E-blade, some WB/Bracers his puny combos don't do shit, once Meepo takes control over his jungle its just the matter of time before he is stacked with stats, takes rosh, and ends the game.
roam invoker is a better counter to meepo than mid invoker.
meepo still has to kill you or you combo him and set up for your team, but you're not the mid player so if he jumps you there's still a mid player than can kill him
Its not that Invoker kills Meepo, but that he offers good control against it.
Tornado = Setup kills on Meepo and save allies
Cold snap = Hold one Meepo from escaping with poof
Defeaning blast = Disarms all Meepos
Ice wall = control all Meepos(if used well)
Meteor = Very high damage on ALL Meepos.
But as i said before, a good Meepo can counter it by comming online with blink Etheral and Vyse and killing Invoker before he has a chance to group up, and if u play Meepo u know that a lost fight vs him = lost barracks.
Invoker is decent vs Meepo, but Meepo is OP in 7.25
invoker has spells that are useful vs meepo =/= invoker good against meepo, u lose in lane, u lose in farm, u get ran over.
It all about skill and game sense.
Lets just say scenario 1 im the invoker your the meepo. Then invoker easily wins the match
Scenaario 2 im the meepo your the invoker then invoker is doomed

I think there's a problem with the page counters page.
For example, on Invoker's counters page, Dotabuff lists him as best at countering Meepo with a best advantage of +2.76%. But at the same time, his winrate is at 41.9% against Meepo, which is the worst out of all his match-ups.
This makes absolutely no sense. And as a seasoned Meepo player, I'm not scared of Invoker at all.
There is obviously a problem here.

Yes, I'm Archon and that's about 50th percentile, which means I'm an average player who happens to like to play Meepo. Can't a seasoned Meepo player be an average player? I used to be an Ancient. How stupid and judgmental people are is just so amazing. If you guys are so insecure about yourself to focus on my profile, maybe you should find something else to do in your life.
Furthermore, my 8yo son has been playing on my account 2 years now. I'm trying to teach him DOTA and he loves it. Why does he play ranked? Because I also teach him competitiveness. When something is at stake, it's always more involving and serious. It's the same when he plays sports.
So just talk about the issue here or STFU
