Too static, razor has to tank and chase. Solar Crest doesn't help in any of those categories, you know why? Cause razor is taken down by magic, not hits.
You can see this from his items. Mobility, HP (active/passive/ulti abilities), Immunity and an AOE slow.
Back in Dota 1, Razor used to be a creep with frenzy ability. It was just stupid and nonsense.
By now I still don't get why people pick him.
solar crest on razor is good but, razor is item dependent, cannot afford to waste any gold on solar crest. Razor has to get other survival items asap
so faster aghs is better for pushing ye?
I mean I'm sure envy will build it on him, the bastard built sc on ember

why no solar crest?
I understand his build varied a lot during his games, going for items like blademail, aghs, sny, drums, bkb, shivas, but a couple constants were aghs and phase Aquila.
so why cant u fit in solar crest? it makes him tanky, the active synergizes so well with the hero, it also gives mana regen, whats not to like?
I was theorycrafting a razor build like artours but a bit different, smth like phase Aquila lance/drums/yasha/blademail solarcrest (complete sny or pike) aghs bkb. throw in shivas/ac for lategame.
the other thing I was wondering is why no lance or pike? it works well with the hero, tho maybe not EG's style of razor.
