They get blinded by the aghs benefits and fail to see the downsides of not picking up other utility items first. As a support main, I am appalled by this.

I think I picked aghs on core more times than supports, and 83% of my true sight games are supports
I do pick ALOT of spirit vessel, I simply adore this item
And if I'm not picking vessel I found myself going alot of times with high mobility of rushing blink into force stuff
normally people stop doing that past 3k.
though i have seen stuff like brown boots aghs doom offlande in 3.3, even brown boots aghs necro mid after the nerf or brown boots dagon nyx.
So I haven't missed something?
And I can definitely see nyx staying with brown boots getting blink/eul/meme hammer
Fun with aghs? On lich and AA?
it has literally 0 additional visual effects. How would it contribute to a "fun" aspect?
Those are two of the most boring aghs in the game

imho aghanims on aa is the only item i want to see on that support, screw all other items. you know aa, lich and wd are the 3 supports that come to mind that do NOT need a blink (unlike rhasta or lion)....
and the thing you are missing might be that aghanims on those 3 heroes you mentioned might be situational pickups against heroes like alche or meepo or void.
Crusader 0 is roughly mid 1K, Crusader 5 is low 2K, right?
In that bracket, there are rarely any true supports. Just 4th cores/5th cores that occasionally buy wards.
glimmer + force + solar crest > aghs in most situations. I can propel name a few which I would go aghs first or second item, and thats pretty much it. Kotl Is one of them
It's honestly considered greedy. But rushing is a game changer when you get that valuable item. Aghs on supports is game winning. Don't listen to the people who don't know this game.
I love seeing rhasta with Brown boots, club, staff and blade at 30 min mark, with zero wards bought. Same goes with lion and wd. I hate those ”supports”...

MMR to get normal ppl in game. There is no something as 1,2 k knowledge about dota game. so everthing is stupid, just if you see some buster than whatch what he do.

I see it alot in my games, the supports get some money in teamfight, and immediately buy a club/point booster, trying to get aghs first item
aghs is really expensive and have bad buildup, ad usually doesn't provide much immediate value, unlike items such as force stuff, spirit vessel, blink and so on
and still, I constantly see aghs first item on the likes of AA, lich, witch doctor and such
am I missing something?
