Game creators/designers are rarely the best at their own game. And I think IceFrog doesn't spend too much time playing the game himself, or else his patches would be biased to how he percieves the game. I'd say IceFrog is a solid 3-4K MMR. Maybe 5K.
I dont think icefrog is an actve player.
I heard before patches he talks a lot with players like Blitz etc, to get someones opinion on the changes that actually understand the game.
