The amount of pain you would get in the ass to try this out... It would probably work though.
How about Necrolyte + Huskar + EB. Waaaaaay less items, waaaaaaaay less heroes needed and it does sure kill % damage?
Well, technically, that could deal higher damage, but I want a fixed result. :D
Laguna Blade, with those modifiers, will always deal x amount of damage. It does not depend on enemy hero health or anything like that.
And, the items can be divided among the heroes. Lina has ult scepter, while Elder Titan has the ethereal blade, Shadow Demon has the Veil of Discord and Skywrath Mage has the Orchid Malevolence.
Too much coordination required to pull it off in a big battle. +items heroes might not usually get
Unless your team has a much higher skill level than the others, you're probably going to lose at the expense of trying this out. But it would be for the lulz.
Don't forget to test it against an AM with pipe in rubick's aura, lol
That's actual something that makes it really interesting :D. In a real game I don't think it's too easy to execute but it's theorycrafting anyway. But on the other side... I really want to see a Huksar dying in one hit and saying "WTF just happened" in chat :).

We're talking about Laguna Blade here.
So you have a team of 5 people
Lina - with Aghanim Scepter + Ethereal Blade + Veil of Discord + Orchid Malevolence
Elder Titan
Shadow Demon
Skywrath Mage
Undying - with Aghanim Scepter
So, how much damage would Laguna Blade deal?
Formula: Actual damage = magical damage × (1 + magic amplification) × (1 − natural resistance) × (1 − magic resistance of item) × (1 − magic resistance of first ability) × (1 − magic resistance of second ability)
1250 base damage
+40% ethereal blade
+25% veil of discord
+33% orchid
+50% soul catcher (shadow demon)
+35% flesh golem (Undying with ult scepter right next to target)
and, apparently, both natural order and ancient seal follow damage amplification mechanics even though tooltips clearly state that they reduce magic resistance so...
+33% natural order (elder titan)
+36% ancient seal (skywrath mage)
The result of this, is factored against the opponent's magic resistance
base 25%
so we have:
1250 x (1 + 2.52) x (1 - 0.25) =
3300 damage
Interesting. Anyone willing to test this in-game? :D
