alch is now more vulnerable to burst damage, in 6.78 once he pops chemical rage, he can survive pretty much every nuke, now a heart/bkb might be a staple for him.
I think armlet might become a good core, his regen counteracts and the bonus dmg is great with his attackspeed

SB was situational. BKB was core. Unless the opposing lineup drafted close to 0 stuns/roots/slows/blinds.
Also agreeing with Albino, armlet sounds great.

I think you are confused on what a core item is, it is a item when not picked you wonder why. (based on the situation) BKB is a good item against any team with alot of disables/nukes but that doesnt mean its a core item prior to the change
There is no such thing as a game with 0 disables. Therefore it is core.
Unless your opposing team has 5 dps carries with 0 disables. Hence your application of BKB not being a core might apply.
well bear in mind he did lose ton of HP with this change. but again he did gain an immense amount of reg he is almost slark like. with bkb he might be impossible to burst down.
aa and necro might be a must picks vs him now.
snowman, every single game since patch you have played alchemist you have not once gotten bkb yet you are saying it is a core item. I understand that you dont like me but arguing against my point for the sake of arguing against me only makes you seem childish
The armlet isnt as good as you think it is, it doesn't work with chemical rage to its full potential. Because you aren't gaining any hp, you are gaining any damage.
