Games where you abandon count as losses even if your team wins. Games against Bots don't count. Nothing can be done if Valve server crashes no record of the game exists.
Real discrepancies in Valve stats vs dotabuff stats are tiny. Don't worry about it.

I stopped giving fucks about lost in transition games when my unrecorded victories got canceled out by my unrecorded losses.
Dotabuff provides an excellent and free service, and the stats shown here don't negatively affect any of your official in game stats. Dotabuff utilizes the dota 2 API.
I didn't abandon, someone else did early enough for the no stats message, didn't know that would count as a loss on here. Almost a reason to finish an abandon game to not get a loss.
The Razor game was a limited pool game. Didn't realise if a bot replaced anyone in the match it would then not count as a win. Thanks for the info, removed limited pool from my game modes.
if it did not work that way the system would get exploited even more by vrok and crew

Argh, 2nd night in a row I've won a game and it's not counted. Played a game as luna last night and won easily but because their sodding server went down it's never appeared in my games played and now another easy win isn't showing because someone abandoned, but they did so well after the no stats time.
Added with the Bane abandoned game that didn't count to stats my dotabuff should be 11 - 6 but instead is showing as 9 - 7!
I realise it's not the end of the world, but what's the point of having these stats if they aren't reliable
