I disagree, i think db+ does have alot of nice features. I would not buy DB+ bcause of some outdated ranklists, that would be silly.

Realistically I think this is something that has been mentioned by the community about the top 50. There are some people who are actually quite outstanding with certain heroes but lack the overall account aesthetics to make it onto the list.
It simply becomes too hard to factor all these issues in but surely at some point they will work out a system for doing it.
Example: Chains picks any hero. Provided he can get 30 games and + 60-70% win rate he will be on that list for sure.

If I'm not mistaken the hero rating is just a combination of the old DBR and the individual performance. My TA would probably be on that list if I had a better rating then.
Yeah I don't understand why Sano isn't up at least on the lower tier of tinker players when you have people like http://dotabuff.com/players/32269472 who appear at around 38. Lower over all rating probably as far as the DBR system is concerned.

So it's not just your hero stats that give you your hero score? You've also got to have a good DBR? How is DBR calculated?
DBR was* a dotabuff rating that was added to accounts older than 10-11 months. Any accounts within this time frame had a rating which helped allocate a "skill" level which in turn would either see you get on the ratings or not.

I will update it today seeing as I have nothing better to do at the moment
I understand that a lot of you can't afford it but it there are (following helpful suggestions) a lot of really nice features. At least try out the plus feature for a month to see if you like it.
Also it appears that a lot of people are having Paypal issues when trying to pay but these will hopefully be worked out.
