Game 1: People are gonna flame me for this, but you should have gotten a Bloodstone as your first item. Look at all the burst damage coming out from their team. You really needed the survivability of a Bloodstone that game. And after Bloodstone you probably should have gone for a BKB. They had 0 heroes with escapes so the silence from Orchid is not needed. While the damage amp is helpful I think Bloodstone > BKB would have been the best choice that game.

Game 2: Orchid first was a good choice this game. After Orchid you should have gone straight into BKB instead of what looks like the components of a Hex. Honestly though that lineup has a ton of lockdown and Shallow Grave really shuts down Storm ganks if you don't silence it. Just a hard game to play as Storm if you don't have lightning quick reflexes for evading RPs and Storm Hammers.

meh, idk about bloodstone, i'd rather have ogre club (1000) and orchid (4025) instead of bloodstone (5050), and keep treads on strength. gives 354 extra hp and also way more damage than bloodstone, as well as being 1k closer to bkb.

still, in both games you were snowballing pretty hard judging from your score, and bloodstone can keep that going whereas orchid might not have, so maybe bloodstone couldve benefited.

BKB and get pickoffs on there core whenever possible

bloodstone as a first item rarely makes sense as orchid is the best pickoff item till sheep (and even then its up there) which gives storm a great global presence, it forces bane/zeus to position well or die in that game which would help a lot and give you pickoff potential.

bloodstone isnt gotten for the survivability primarily its more gotten to keep the amount of ganks ur able to do high. if u get caught with a bloodstone ur gonna die regardless.

I get bloodstone first if i can actually kill the enemy heroes without orchid, the extra hp does help in ganks.

If you go orchid first you can stil get a bloodstone as second item, it still worth it.

As long as you have Treads your attack speed is fine.

An Orchid is a great choice when the enemy has escapes that you need to silence (which is usually the case). However, if they don't have any escapes that you need to silence and they have a lot of burst damage (like in the first game he posted above) then Bloodstone is a better choice than Orchid. Granted, these circumstances are pretty rare in most games which is why Orchid is generally a better first item on Storm.

Saying that Bloodstone isn't gotten for the survivability is dumb. It's not the main reason it's bought, but 500 health is a more than significant amount when you're up against a lineup with lots of burst damage. If you get caught out with Bloodstone that 500 health could easily save your life.

Yes you can dodge spells using ur ball.

I just dont like to have to go back to base after every gank with orchid, ok maybe not after one but after two i am pretty sure you are totally out of mana with only orchid.

arcane boots + soul ring is best build.

First game: BKB after your ochrid since they have 3x high nuke potential heros or at the minimum a common magic resist cloak (550). Then roll into a bloodstone or sheepstick (preferred sheepstick disable and mana regen stays if you die so good pick.)

Second game: Would of rolled into linkens after orchid like you did your first game, then sheep. This would of helped in those stun lockers like magnus/sven/centaur/dazzle lvl 4 poison touch. Dispelling one of the stuns would of been huge.
