aghanim is good enough
but on that game in particular, he had to kite naix
so, ult on rage, and atos when rage is gone

I can see it working if you have to kite more than 1 hero at a time.

aghs is significantly better on viper than atos.

The int is mostly wasted on viper once you have aghs. There are better options for tankyness if that is the desire.

^We are talking about after Aghs, because the item order/priority is obvious and the guy who did it in the game went aghs as well

why not sheepstick then? it gives more stats and has a better use overall

exactly. atos after aghs is wasteful. The aghs increases the ulti range considerably, and the int is wasted on viper unless you refuse to manually cast Q.

if you really have to get closet to your enemy to use ulti, get yasha/drums or blink or force staff.

edit: i suppose if the atos slow stacks with ulti and Q it might be so much slow that they are damn near standing still... that could be nice.

Viper already has slow? Mek into aghs is much better than atos

Why would you need 4 slows? He already has q, e and ult slows. If you want hp just go vit booster into heart.

Poison slow and ulti slow combined will already reduce even a 522 MS hero to lowest possible 100. So it's almost always a waste of gold and item slot.
