Streams of any PRO who plays support? in General Discussion
Ansgar, the Holy Spear

    Hi i'm starting to play support "professional" and as i have been mid i would like to get fit with support like the professional does, and as i don't have any ticket for looking in-game skills, i would like to know if there is any pro who streams (i know only from NoTail but he ain't serious at all, i still look at him ofc!!!)

    Thanks in advice!

                  Im envious? lol my mmr is like 1k higher then his and i watch everyone of his games on Zephyr and 90% he is useless and just feeds :) i would not recommend watching him as a mentor

                  Neme

                    Envy is way too cocky. I watched couple of times, hands down , he is good player, but awfull as mentor

                      @Dizzy
                      His matches are legit, not some shit like this:
                      http://dotabuff.com/matches/521523108

                      And he often plays random heroes, obviously it hurts his MMR a bit.

                        Purgegaymer fanboys no turning them.... this guy asked for a pro support player.... purge plays in korean scene which is hardly pro... and even still hes freely admitted he is dead weight and worst player on team. Purge also admits he always forgets to buy wards and has terrible descision making and bad minimap awareness......so wen some1 asks for pro support player please dont give purges name fanboy lol

                          @Dizzy
                          Oh look! This guy calls Purge a "dead weight", he must be real pro if he says that!
                          Was that your plan?

                          In fact, low-skilled players like you unable to notice hard work of supports.

                          sano

                            Purge isn't a pro. He's a good player, but a lot of users here are better than him. Just because he plays a tournament in Korea doesn't mean he's pro. He sits at ~4.8k MMR.

                                MMR tells nothing about your skill, and you all know it.

                                  @sano, I know what you mean but by definition a 'pro' is someone who earns money for what they do. Hence Purge is a professional player because playing the game is his profession and he makes money doing it.

                                    90% of this forum could move to korea and become a "Pro"

                                        Purge is good for the pub scene , but he wouldn't survive in competitive scene. Although i like him, for his methods of teaching starters. You can learn a lot from " purge plays . . . " episodes.

                                          yeah I'm talking pro in the sense of playing at a pro-level skillwise

                                          @Soultrap
                                          MMR does tell something about your skill. Of course you can't just say that I'm better than you if I'm 200 MMR above you. But if I'm more than 500 MMR above you, there's almost no doubt that I'm better than you. Purge is under 5k, while every pro is 5.5k+. That just quantifies the difference of skill. You're using a stupid argument, what's your point? You think Purge plays at pro level? You think Zephyr can play against any big team in Europe? Even tier 2 teams can win them easily.

                                            The only people on zephyr i would consider "pro" would be Bamboe and Corey

                                                and even those two prob get chewed up and spit out in real scene

                                                            I watch a lot of Purge stuff, but he also taught me a lot when I was struggling early on with the game. I learn mostly little things from him, like turning off the RoB aura, for example, or even how to really last hit. I don't think he's the best player, but I like watch him and Merlini both. Merlini does well with giving a good description of why something went badly, for example. I have noticed that Purge dies a lot, and a lot of times unnecessarily.
