How can you dodge games now anyway? As soon as I load a game if I dc for any reason I get an abandon, doesn't matter if we're still on load screen or hero load.
Well, only if this has changed in yesterday's patch, because I've recently seen in the loading screen a guy muted on my team.

@wookie: when you d/c from loading screen, you have to do it in time before picks, and you have to not press the leave game button after. You got to just wait it out.
could it be something with client version... or perhaps an option? I've been looking out for this, and this is the second time its happened in the past 1-2 days.
you can still dodge, infact, i literally abandoned a game 15 minutes into a ranked match with no low priority.

If they're Peruvian, they'll likely speak Spanish. If they speak Portuguese, they're likely from Brazil or Portugal.
IDK I was on last night I could see the mute function on for people while loading. This was about 13 hours ago.
its not dodging if you lose mmr....
maybe its just me? Would be such an awful cure.
Mind you, i can see the mute function on these players once the game starts, i am specifically talking about checking the mute button during THE LOADING PHASE. During that phase, i was unable to see mutes. Once the game started the mutes were visible.

Sadly this seems to be the case.
I had a lifestealer in my 2nd to last game that last picked and wanted to jungle which completely ruined our lanes (the alch was pretty terrible too). So i muted the lifestealer. He was on the opposing side the next game i was in. I recognized the name, but he didn't appear as muted.
Looks like valve doesn't like us dodging games with muted players on our team.
On a side note, i absolutely crushed that asshole in the second game.
