it will buy the stuffs that you put into the quick buy stash on lower right corner of the screen.
You can hold shift and click an item in the store to put it into the quick buy stash (to buy list).
i set the quick buy to key F2.
so often times when i am about to die, i hit F2 repeatedly like crazy.

I absolutely shift+click item to put it in the quick buy stash, but the quick buy key seems to buy scrolls of town portals or clarities instead of the quick stash buy button.
Your point of I buy shit before I die is exactly why I wanted it to work for the oh shit factor of I'm going to die no matter what now. I wonder what I'm doing wrong?
Unrelated, I also hit alt+click to notify teammates what I am building next. Helps in those language barrier scenarios.
I don't know why you can only buy portal or clarity. maybe you can look into your key binding in the configuration.

It works for me too, the sticky is the tower portal scroll and the quick buy is what you shift click there. Have you tried using 1-1 hotkeys for these and see what happens? Ive used this option for a while and it always worked for me. Dont you have anything weird in an autoexec.cfg? That likes to mess up my stuff sometimes when I forget something retarded in it.
I think you're confusing "quick buy" with purchase sticky. Sticky is a TP scroll defaultly. You need to find the key for quick buy in the options.
Yep, I use G for quick buy and T for sticky, I dont think any of these would be the default :D

EDIT: Does anyone use the quick buy hot key and what does it do? It seems to just buy scrolls of town portal for me. I was hoping it purchased items I had queued up to build when I clicked the button.
Any function on Dota 2 do this? Or is this just a broken hot key function/option?
