So the reason behind erasing 4 stacks chance to get match is just for flaming reason and not balance cause?
Just means when you solo queue you can still end up against a 5 stack, you'll just never luck into a 4 stack. I can understand why they did it, but I think it was more a few nubcakes bitching that got valve to change it rather than a truly needed change.

Odd guy out always get reported. Imagine 4 idiots want to push after losing 3 team fights... instead of taking a fight at friendy tower. Or you are split pushing while they are defending... Just a few trolls on other team who help report you with the 4 idiots bring you into LPQ.

You have to be subordinate to interface with a 4-stack usually, even if you happen into a game with a 4 stack where every member is far worse than you. If the game is a loss, you will be slammed by 4 players almost surely. If you played support, they will claim you didn't ward/deward even if you did (hence they got ganked even if they died by playing awfully) or they will reference the fact that you don't have a 10-0 score on crystal maiden. If you play carry, and their odd support style fails (no TPs, weird camping around mid that does nothing all game while you can't get a single last hit for 20 minutes, etc.) they will use the fact that you have no farm as evidence that you shouldn't have been carry.
I mean, these are generalities. I have been matched with 4-stacks that were pleasant. I still think the blame game was done like 80% of the time.

Not my best performance but zeus/timber were together, I gave them timber/zeus like they wanted then flamed me for the rest of the picks. Banned OD and was called a noob, banned slark called a noob. banned weaver and called a noob.

Anyone that gets butt hurt about not getting to pick captain and doesn't like my bans can eat a bag full of dicks with herpes.
EDIT: Needs to allow for mute function prior to picks.... and not after picks are made. I couldn't hit the mute function fast enough on those fucking asswipes fast enough.

It's different, because when it's 4, it gains the attribute of "everyone on my team". That is far more stressful than "some people on my team". 100% versus 75%. It's a big difference.
They should implement a manual queue system for stacks or allow solo ranked mmr players to have the option of choosing to play or not to play against stacks. You cant make everyone happy with automated queuing.... and stacking wasn't even a problem in D1 with open lobby system.
Maybe I've been lucky, or maybe I've not played enough solo queues and landed on 4-stacks enough. Because I have never been muted, never been reported (that I know of), and rarely get flamed in game.
Everything you guys are complaining about is present in all facets of this game's horrible community. It's just distributed differently - who cares?
The biggest thing I see here is "getting flamed by 4 other teammates," which is a really silly thing to get upset about because the mute button is right there. Or better yet, stop being personally hurt by the words of some random kids on the internet.
Remember: on average this community is disgusting and terrible, and there's no difference between four guys flaming one or five guys flaming each other.

but as far as i see it, 4-stacking is less common because if they realize they are already 4 they will probably want to complete it to have better communication. it feels like kind of odd to leave one slot remaining, i'd rather have a less-skilled friend to fill the 5th slot rather than push your luck at pubbers.
whereas a 3-man stack needs two more players to complete (that's a 100% increase in players needed lol), kind of hard especially late at night.

Ranked should have only two options : 5v5 or all solo.
Non-ranked anything goes.

^Agree. Even if it's just you and a lower MMR friend, there is 50% chance that the other 3 players would be from his bracket.

and either everything else, or everything else but 4 stack for last queue.
At least, valve didn't made the shit thing of lol, aka, no 4 stack and no 3 stack, cause at least, you can split you group of 4 in two group of two, and still play 3 men if you are three, instead of splitting in 1 + 2.
