And if you have only 2 games and won them both, you have 100% win rate, so for sure you should be very high, right?
Just play some ranked and see if you have mmr higher then 3900.
You need like 30+ kda in your first game to get insta placed in the high/very high skill bracket. Took me 2 games to get to vhs, and I'm still in the top of the bracket, playing against 5k tmmr players even if i feed.

Just make a new account and make sure that you completely stomp Your first 5 games.
The api still has data for Normal/High/Very High apparently except that Dotabuff doesn't show it while other sites do.
One possibility is that you are smurfing but did terribly in your unranked calibration matches, (i.e. anti-smurf). Consequently you are above your skill level but only gaining +25 unranked rating per game, making it a slow road to higher brackets.
Hero damage isn't that high
Tower damage isn't that high
GPM isn't that high
On a smurf account you probably shouldn't die, and have a 800+ GPM easily.
On a decent carry you should have at least 2 big items by 20 minutes, with the 3rd nearly complete and should be able to go full 6 slotted by 30-35 mins.
is this dotamax.com site is legit? and skill level like normal high and very high is from dota 2 skill bracket ?
Regardless of this guy being on a smurf account and probably doesn't earn any high ranking achievement. Sampson really needs to get those mommy and daddy issues fixed up. There are ways of expressing your opinion without being autistic.
@Conceed: if you are a 4k+ MMR on a smurf down in the 1-2k trenches I don't see how that is hard? Create a smurf and see what I mean. You kill a guy and he's back in lane 30 seconds later for another easy kill. You can get about 400 gpm just from hero kills.
I was actually referring to playing more carry heroes though, and if you look at his profile he is mainly playing people who can snowball easily against noobs. Viper is great for an easy first blood against noobs. I don't get why OP buys shadow blade though. No one he is playing against is buying wards
smurfs dont start out in 1-2k trenc. The starting point is at 3k.
And yes, 800 gpm is very very high. A good game will land you closer to 500-650 on most heroes.
smurfs start in non ranked . You need level 13 before you can do anything. Make a smurf and see what you play against. It's like 1k mmr equivalent.
I am pretty certain non ranked games will be used to qualify your starting MMR for ranked too, there is just no point in not using that data.

Afaik, you only start at 3k mmr on a new ID if you select "Experienced" and that option was only available a while back.
The 1st match you play, is against 9 other people playing their first game of dota2.
Source: Both my ID's were made after they removed the option for experienced. And In both, atleast 3 people posted in all chat saying they just got dota2..
+ They were ez :D (Except for when they have good smurfs in it too.. in which case id get rekt..)
Only 80 games? i can get 85% with a new account. Pretty sure you will get below 52% at 200 games they way u losing.
If your smurfing on a new account with under 75% win rate, then you probably shouldn't be smurfing at all
I know there is MMR in non ranked but you can't see it. I'm not the one claiming stupid crap like you start at 3K MMR am I. Your ranked MMR starts wherever you need to be based on non ranked. In non ranked you do not start at a 3K equivalent, no where near it. In fact you don't even have an MMR at this stage because you haven't done anything so it is impossible to gauge your skill at all.
You'll get matched with complete noobs who don't even know what the map is, how the shop works or what the items do, and also there will probably be other smurfs, or players from similar games who have better skill too. You will need to win every game at this point. Valve have indirectly stated this with their post on matchmaking http://blog.dota2.com/2013/12/matchmaking/
NOTE: Nothing on that chart starts at 3k

Before ranked mmr was introduced you could check your mmr through console. Picking experienced player at the start would put you at 3k instantly.
Now it probably uses a nominal value of around 1-2k, with anti-smurf allowing changes up to 1-2k over the first few games.
Blue/pink is based on queue times, with relation to mmr only applicable to above 5k. I was Blue in 22/25 of my last 25 solo queue games. Pro streamers are also blue or pink 90% of the time.
