It probably is certain for servers, and depends on what server you're connected to.
There are people who refuse to wait. Usually those that get shit stomped on.
And sometimes reconnect button is simply gone and instead you have to find new match.
Yeah its fucking retarded. Those things should not happend, maybe in a beta stage. But not now wtf.

just happened to me, except the guy didnt even pick a hero. we even won 4v5 so he got a free win.

This thing going on with players getting dc'ed in the middle of a game. And not beeing able to reconnect after, even tho their connection is fine. Yesterday i had a game both me and our carry dc'ed he had excatly same problem as me. So our team were playing 3v5 for like 10 minutes. After endless tries of trying to reconnect i finally got into the game, our rax was gone in 2 lanes. Game lost, rating lost, hello to 6 games in low prio. This have now been happening multiple times for me, for the past several 2 months.

How the fuck can this keep happening, players are getting punished due to volvos servers fucking up. Are they all sitting with their head up in their ass?. This should not fucking be able to happen in the first place. Valve you are fucking retarded, grow a brain, fix ur game.
