Creep blocking done wrong in General Discussion

I don't know why, but it seems that i always get two ranged creeps with the second wave whenever i block in mid.
Like, the opponent doesn't block, but i do and the creeps meet by my team's ramp. Then they proceed to fight it off, but my ranged creep always survives (probably because he is high ground) and i get two ranged creeps that eventually push out the lane.
How do i prevent this from happening?

either push and go full aggressive with your double wave advantage (if the matchup allows u to do it), or try to aggro enemy creeps to ur hill ground by a-clicking his hero.

You have high ground advantage on your hero, so abuse it. Hit your creeps as much as possible even outside deny range. That will push the lane back to your tower while it was already on your side. The other guy also has a chance of missing the last hit because of the high ground, letting you an easy deny.

Umm, Atum kinda mentioned what i was going to, but yea, you could also let the range creep go first towards the end of the block so that he dies first, this pushes the lane closer to your tower though, so if the enemy isn't blocking, you might end up last hitting under your tower ._.

try blocking every melee creep, not the range creep. the ranged creep will run in first and die, causing the creepwave to push to your side. to prevent it from pushing all the way to your tower, you can autoattack. if you pull off this block, you can easily control the creep wave.

Once between your t1 and t2 towers let the ranged go first. It will engage from far so letting him go first won't really cause the wave to go forward much more. Letting him die first makes it easier to control the wave in general.
