Before that I was using numpad, bad old habit from DotA AS.

I've been using it since dota 1, requires the least finger movements for me.

2 3 4 5 + tab + space

space is always for dagger :3

im still using legacy and numpad....

every time i try and switch to Q W E R i keep clicking legacy hotkeys and i'm like FUCK WHY ARENT MY SPELLS WORKING OMG *DEAD*

but i agree that the q w e r setup is the better way to go, since keys are closer together and you can rehotkey items to ur z x c v keys without interfering with like SF or rubick.

I really prefer this setup. juts makes my hand stay int he same place during teamfights. pretty much it

most of heroes do not have skill on qw, so i usuall use qw, alt+aszx

A mix of legacy and macro keys.

Caps lock, 2, 3
4, G, Space.

Although I should probably replace G with C or V. I have problems with Tinker when I have items that I normally put on the same hotkey.

QWER DF for skills

TXCVB, Space bar for items

12345 etc and F1,2,3 etc are reserved for microing units

R, T, F, G, Mousebutton4 and 5. 1,2,3,4(for the skills, i played way too much WoW and i couldn't switch to qwer)

I use mostly Rubick but this combo works great on almost all heroes, on those where it doesn't I switch to legacy.

And I've got a T in the passive ability

the order is basically as follows: D my first ability - V my second - T my third (passive usually) and F my ultimate
It's hard to give you an idea, looks bad but try to position your fingers without using the T key and you'll understand

EDIT:
Having a G700s logitech mouse I've bind all my inventory to it + "missing" macro (it changes depending on what lane i am) + push to talk button

EDIT2: forgot to mention 1 inventory button (usually a blink dagger) on the space bar

Items are 1-4. Skills are all the normal keys, qwer + s or d for puck rubick? I dunno I never play those guys. Z is push to talk, X is select hero, C is select all summons.

What is key 1 by default? everyone seems to leave that alone...

F1, F2, F3, F4, thumb mouse button, space bar.

Default QWER for skill use

Hero bind: 1 key
Courier bind: 4 key
Select all units (minus the courier of course) 2 key
Select all summoned units 3 key
Push to talk, 2nd thumb mouse button.
Quick buy items in shop: pinky mouse button on right side

Mouse: Razor Lachesis 5000 dpi model (on left)

Zboard keyboard (I do not suggest this keyboard, home row keys where the "F" and "J" key where the nubs are worn off in a few months:

Thinking to going back to my old IBM keyboard due to zboard being poop: It makes the "Clickity clack" sound I like and the home row keys still work. big plus is theres no windows keys on it....
