I mean if we're being honest, they charge almost as much as Netflix charges per month. DB is great free, for those who want a little more, DB+ adds a few perks.
I think subscribing, based on the price and what it offers, is more like a way to support the site than it is to get your money's worth. It's nice I'm sure, but not worth (IMO) the monthly amount.

I agree that there are very few reasons to pay.
Your numbers are entirely made up - you have no basis to conclude that they would get X times more subscribers. You might think you havea a qualified "gestimate", but odds are, you don't. It's possible they could make a better business model, but it's also possible they have more and better metrics to estimate an income under said pricing. I realize 6$ might be a lot where you come from, but where I live you can't even get a pizza for that. Pricing is relative, and on top of that your costs increase when your number of customers does as well.
Yes 6 bucks a month is too high. I stop my subscription too cuz only thing that was worth it was the top 50. And scrubs asking on forum for top 50 like every f*ckin' day.
The only time when that *Plus was worth it was back in the DotaBuff rating days.
i would subscribed if dotabuff implements mmr, otherwise $6 still seems abit steep
They should have a month in every half year or so when the price is half (for that month only) so everyone who just wants to look at the cool new features/stats can buy it. Maybe some of them even like it enough to become permanent subscribers. At least give it a try, im sure there will be enough people so it worth it for dbuff... just put a nice 50% off sign on the main page. Also, i dont think anyone buying the half-price version would mind still having the advertisements on, so only remove those for regular payers. Id def buy it like this but $6monthly is just too much in my country.

You can't implement something that is not coded to be shared on third party websites from the valve system.
I'm sure DB guys would love to add much more things but some are limited.
That being said, I still see improvements on the site and where I come from 6 bucks is nothing, ofc some might find it expensive and I understand them, from it comes my comprehension for people asking for top 50 on the forums.
Remember that most are still kids, unemployed or don't get any revenue.
Let's be a bit optimistic and open minded :)
please make dotabuff rate lower, at least $3. i'll be happy to invite my friends to use this great service.
No lie if it was $3 I wouldn't even hesitate to buy it. At $6 I debate it and never pull the trigger.

they'd get like 5x more subscriptions if they charged $2-3/month (I'd be one of them) instead of $6 which basically excludes all but the pros/ultra-competitive and people with way too much money to burn, which are prob <10% of the user base combined.
