I've not seen Spectre build blademail in pro. games unless they're REALLY far behind and its a desperation move. Wink is taking those odd cases as "rush blademail", but thats just bullshitting. Vanguard and drums are both legit on spectre depending on how you plan to play her and when the items are acquired.

The idea that the ilusions need the tackiness is kinda silly, as if its a smart idea to stand and bang with a spectre illusion to begin with.

Claiming vanguard sucks in principle is silly, and comes down to trendiness and popularity. If the item really sucked, pro players would not be building it as often as they do on multiple heroes.
