Hand of midas is just an all around shit item and ends up butt fucking your team when you don't buy a useful item you greedy gold hogs. :P

when my team go 5 midas I always win. No clue wtf u talk about "1-2 only blablabla"

od has the potential to finish a 5~6 min midas

then he can outfarm/outlevel the opposite mid laner.
also (not really a positive thing but still) he grabs the enemy team attention, supports will gank him more often because he went midas.

5 hand of midas on a team is gay sauce I haven't seen HOM tear down a tower or convert an enemy hero into gold yet. Until then its a dumb build IDC how many games people have won with this shit strategy. HOM sucks.

OD needs levels just like Invoker.

While I understand that going an early mek or force staff is way better, sometimes you're the only core (like sampson or melody is playing the carry and feeding non-stop) and you need that extra gold/exp.

I hate midas as much as you hate (in fact, from 66 Luna games I have bought less than 10 midas)
but some people are winning tournament games doing that (i'm looking at you arfgtezy)

Only hero I midas on is doom. I don't play NP or I'd probably midas him too. That's it.

I'd disagree with rushing Midas before at least a brown boot. Item is alright, though, because OD doesn't really do much until levels 9 and 10 if the game decides to start.
Certain heroes require you to get forcestaff as fast as you can, like Clock.

The reason why Midas is bad is because an integral part of OD is early game contribution, but with Midas he doesn't have that Int advantage he needs to do damage with first skill and last skill.

(I got midas before 7 min, so it's not playing problem.)
