Its not for the attack speed for that crazy god damn reworked shield it gives you. The lighting procs, the spin, altogether just amazing on axe.

ever since mjoll got buffed to hit in an aoe instead of a cone it's actually really powerful, hell throw it onto the first creep in a wave and it'll proc 4 times on average if no heroes hit it.
it is "good" if you can get it, but if you stall on acquiring it, you can cost your team the game.

In your linked game, you were clearly gang stomping the opponents anyway. You could have gone for any item and probable had the same result.
Other lanes didn't do so well but me and windrunner did really well in the offlane and it just spread from there.
^even then its really meh, since you arent gonna do much with the second stout shield. if you get a stout + a ring, you can enter the jungle with regen and turn the ring into a basi.
@^Thisguywillfeed Caveman is correct if you are going for a long term jungling spree then two stouts is viable.....but why would you?

Only reason you would jungle axe you're compensating for awful picks from your team, and everyone needs max gold/xpm and having a jungler maximizes everyones gold/xpm potential early on.
I did a jungle axe last night, I really hate jungle axe, suboptimal at best. My fave is getting soul ring ASAP and laning, then maxing battle hunger to keep enemies out of lane.

Lane axe = No battle hunger to increase durability with call
Hmm, I like. Maybe even better than Cuirass against a team that is mostly ranged heroes? Actually getting both seems pretty solid.

puppy, akke, aui, demon, bulba etc. They all jungle roaming with hybrid builds
spamming battle hunger only worked before it got nerfed and we were in a bracket where people can't last hit

...mjolnir is so fucking good on axe ^__^ I am pretty sure like one of the big players does it as well and wanted to test it. Oh my sweet lord the results were amazing.
