Titan, Troll, Clinkz, Rhasta, Rubick, Nortom, Skywrath and Necro are pretty common mid heroes, actually.
Right but (I'll take Centaur as an example).
If a team needs some teamfight initiation they won't pick Centaur for mid. Most likely they will go Puck or Magnus.This kinda takes Centaur out of the equation, so hes almost never picked mid. (same goes for other things like: pushing, ganking, etc.)
Shadow shaman mid, jakiro undying tormented soul aggro, and anything for your safelane is ez money on tourney.
@Sir Rat-A-Lot: The heroes you listed all perfectly fine for mid assuming no one else gets the job done better (ie. a dedicated mid hero like TA or Puck). The thing with Centaur is that he has a better offlane potential which opens up mid to another hero such as Invoker and TA who need mid. (they can also go other lanes but I'm talking in general here).
Centaur: Viable, guess you can get blink dagger pretty early. Needs stous shield. Why send such a good hardlaner at mid.
Naga: Only in high ranked games or with very good micro to stack camps to get that radiance early.
Axe: Subpar at best. Countered by every single ranged mid. Good against melee mids though.
Tiny: Tiny is often laning at mid. Needs bottle crowing if he lanes without Wisp though.
Bristle: I can't see how...
Tusk: Decent mid, needs bottle crowing.
Elder Titan: Decent mid, has spirit to harass and get damage to last hit and deny. Might need bottle crowing.
Doom: Common mid hero, needs stout shield and maybe bottle crowing due to low armor though. If you get HP regen creep you are impossible to push out of lane.
Troll: Troll is often laning at mid. Can win solo lane easily.
Clinkz: Viable, can push enemy out of lane with searing arrows and is hard to kill and contest runes due to invis. Better at safelane though.
Windrunner: Very good mid. Can push enemy out of lane, is hard to kill, can contest runes very effectively, can kill most mids easily.
Rasta: Decent mid, needs to get early tower with wards and deathball with blink dagger. Very susceptible to gangs.
Rubick: Viable mid. Doesn't offer as much as other heroes with the farm and levels he will get at mid.
Silencer: Decent mid, can push enemy out of lane with last word and glaives but is very susceptible to gangs.
Skywrath: Very good mid. Can push enemy out of lane with arcane bolts and kill all mid heroes at 6 level.
Necro: Decent mid. Needs to use death pulse effectively to win lane. Susceptible to gangs.
Pugna: Decent mid. Needs to take early tower with nether blast and deathball.
I used to play centaur mid. Really fun, easiest kills and roaming of your life once you hit level 6. Scales very favorably with levels and gold while also farming quickly and being adept at creating space for your safelane carry.
Any fragile and immobile mid can die with 6, a boots advantage, or a favorable rune if they aren't very careful

So i just want an opinion.
Are these heroes viable mid? Why? What counters them?

For me centaur really seems a good mid with a lot of nuking, chasing, ganking power. He may be below average at rune control but i guess hes ok. Maybe a bottle and arcane boots will solve his early game mana problems.
