I am not sure about the account buyers (in my bracket at least :D) the bigger fucking problem is that every second/third game I get a smurf (130 or so wins) who has to be carried making it incredibly difficult or a smurf on the other team which leads to total stomp.

The North American manager of ESP disappeared (I think he's had some money issues IRL, he's going through hard times), and inhouse quality and quantity dropped really fast during exam season, but even after the exam season, nobody went for inhouses so we shut down the North American side. EU, AUS, and SEA inhouses are still flourishing though :)

I'd say the 5k bracket is pretty fucked up in terms of match quality. Most players here have less than 100 wins on their accounts. TBD every game.

Account buyers should only be a minor problem. I doubt that there are enough of them to make a significant difference. A lot of people just do not take pubs seriously and that is probably what happened with that Skywrath.

Agreed. Also i agree with Benao here. IF there was calibration, people shouldn't calibrate higher then 4k at max.

They should at least always put a TBD to both sides. doesnt matter if they are each others mirror or just 2 random guy, but at least the same amount of tbd to both sides... Already more fair games.

If you remove the calibrations completely then the "smurf" would most likely ruin a lot more games than how it is now. It is more important (for the game) that the new people don't suffer and they will if you get rid of the smurf detection thingie.

i've encountered a few account buyers and TBD players in my matches, they suck but i dont bitch about it and continue playing but i always wondered why low trash care about it. whats more funny is how trash think they know more than valve, calibration is there to enhance the smurf detection and prevent new players from quitting the game

if i was valve, i'd exclude a couple of heroes from calibration such as zeus, phoenix etc, but then again most people in this forum delude themselves to hide the shame they suck at the game and rather bitch on things they will never experience

also 'abuse' is such a broad term, it could be anything.
here is a bot abuser who cant win against easy bots, i guess facing jörgen bot can be frustrating :(
