Yeah it's not just the build, you need excellent map awareness to use this build properly. It's an aggressive way to play Kunkka since Blink + X = 2000+ initiation range.
I remember when Hailrake's WK build came out, a lot of people tried it. They probably gained like 300 MMR at most (cuz it is a good build), but then stopped progressing.
When you play 1 hero over and over you need to know the hero's weaknesses. For example when I play PA at 5.2k, I stay back until the other team's aoe spells are all used up. Then I go assassinate their squishy heroes (never target centaur/tide/etc. unless they're low on hp). Also knowing when to turn on BKB is crucial since you don't want the seconds to go to waste. The moment ur BKB is done for, the other team can chain stun and just kill you.
These are just little things, but being able to master them will land you at 6k. If !Attacker moved on and played another high-impact hero he would also be able to get 6k rating (eventually) just because he can execute all the things I just mentioned. However most people don't have time to play 10 games a day so sticking with 1 hero and improving with it is the most reasonable way to get higher rating.
@Psychedelica All you said is true, but I think the way to progress MMR is to just try to play every game seriously, you would be surprised at how many games that I won when the game score was 2-9 or something like that, most players in my team said let them end, but one good fight brings you right into the game. Not every game can be won, but you never know which ones you can win so you have to play your best.

He is still 6.6k player after all, so his map awareness, reaction and other skills at least still better than average player.
I was amazed at how he stacked 2 camps at once w/ tidebringer, never thought of that.
Also when he was chasing someone he used torrent to stall them while he drew a low hp neutrals aggro for tidebringer damage on the hero. I would've never even thought of that.

he was not a bad player at all, easy to see he managed to farm a lot despite dying a lot

I tried your build , it always goes good early game , always have a score like 7-0 , minute 12-15 battlefury , but it all goes downhill from there , I'm not the type to blame the team , but it seems like you either need to be a very good farmer to get daedulus quickly after or you just fall off (?) because there is very little team follow up's when it's midgame and team fights start , I won one and lost 5 , 2 of the losses were purely my bad especially the last game , anyways , if you could give one of my games a look and tell me if I should be farming more or helping the team more that would be great..
@Xerav Getting a fast fury shouldn't always mean to keep farming, you should farm but always carry a TP with you and try to go for solo kills with the x torrent ship combo, if there is a big team fight early game you have to be there aswell because the torrent ship combo is almost a surekill at min 10-20. You just need to figure when to farm and when your presence in the fight will make a difference, which is a lot since you're a kunkka. Maybe your playstyle isn't fitting this build, you can always go for the utility and tanky kunkka build, drums bkb assault heart and a daedalus. With enough practice and experience hopefully you'll find the best way to do what's right for the game you're in.
