General Discussioni have a few questions about the tb arcana

You can only take the prismatic and ethereal gems if you destroy the item (using master artificers hammer). i would just buy it off the steam market.

but can you just replace the gems on it?

that only applies to unusual couriers. if you couldn't take the gem off the item without destroying the arcana, how the fuck would you change it's colour since all of them start off with a red gem pre socketed to it

quick explanation - theres 2 types hammers for removing gems.

"artificers hammer" - for anything that is NOT an unusual courier. will remove gems without destroying them item, tb arcana should apply to this rule, last i checked its not an unusual courier
they're only £0.20 on the market (probably €0.30?) anyway, just buy one and see if it works, your item won't be destroyed if it does anyway

and no, everything other effect is determined by the arcana itself. only the colour of the effect is tied to the gem.

To take prismatic gem and ethereal gems you MUST destroy the item (no exceptions). To change its color you simply drag your prismatic gem over the old one and it will replace it.
Quick explanation:
artificers hammer: removes anything thats not a prismatic gem or ethereal gems (items not destroyed)
Masters artificers hammer: Removes prismatic gem or ethereal gems however destroys items

so with one arcana, you can have multiple colors? do you keep the previous color or does it get entirely replaced with a new one
would be neat if you could just decide to play white tb and then next day, a purple tb
