packet loss was a problem for me a couple of months ago.. i dont know if it was dota issue or ISP issue... but it went away after some days..
i was having like 70ms ping and 33% packet loss... that make me have 2 sec delay-.- i just stoped doto.. played HoN a bit then came back all went nice
4 abandons in 1 week and a lot of lp games DAMN steam!!
make it 5 abandons.

It must be something related to your computer.
When I get packet loss issues, it's a server problem. Match normally dissappears if that's the case.
turns out that my brother has been downloading movies in his laptop in the last few days that i didnt know of.
that's probably the reason for the lag i've been experiencing lately.

i abandoned a few games because of this and it got me into low prio games.
