you are not playing support abbadon
i'm pretty sure you don't buy more than 6 wards or something per game, and just try to "carry" abbadon every game.
this is not how a support is played.
but i can't blame you, in normal skill wards are useless 9/10 times, and supporting is not rewarded.
but if you are better than the players from your game, go a support with potential, but still support (shaker,sand king, witch doctor, silencer)
if you participate in kills you will have money for supp items and dagger/aghs/force and other shit.
thats if you are aiming to get better at support while progressing in skill.
but if you are really down low in mmr (like 1k something low 2k), just work on your basics with all roles

How do you go 40min with only around 60-100 lasthits on right-click heavy carries? Even ward bitches can have that much by that time..
Yeah, im in a sucky bracket that I feel so hateful of playing since I can never seem to get out. 1,4k, and no1 does anything. though I try my best.
TripleSteal, I am better than guys in 1.4k, im here because Im from south Africa and calibrated as soon as I could with my only account, I started playing end last year. I admit I don't waste money on further wards and smoke etc unless I need them, since the people here don't know how to use them.
I play with a developing team in south Africa which have decent players and I occasionally get into high and vhs games with them as a support. That's why I feel I learned a bit more than where I am, though everytime I try to come out of this place, I loose. And playing on Europe servers lag so much, it makes it worse. south africa hasn't a big enough pool to search ranked efficiently.
So I get to the point of this post, which I know wasn't explicit, im just wondering if anyone else was in a similar situation and how they managed it? I know about making a smurf etc, but I see no value until I like make really big progress and stay stuck still.
and thanks raining, you're correct in the solo q matches I really don't full out support, though in team games I do. and im trying to complete my hero challenge so I learn all the roles etc. Just really like Abba right now.

Well that's Dota 2, you're gonna have those games where you're supporting and everyone on your team is shit, and makes the game go to shit by 15 mins. Then you're gonna sit there and wonder " what.... the.... fuck... how is our Bristle 0-6 and Slark 1-9 the first 15 mins of the game, who dies that much..... that fast.." It's gonna happen, you just gotta get into the next match instead of posting these kind of threads. Even complaining about your loss rage threads are fine, just not showing how good you are, showing us what you think is "proof" that you don't belong there.

I got the courier, upgraded it, wards and since my team was dying a bit initially, and I managed to kill the zeus and lion a few times super early, I proceeded to get phase and MoM, and never stopped since.
I'm managed to initiate and heal up the PL multiple times which also helped the other team not catch up, and the team did well sticking with me to follow up making the other team hate themselves.
I know I'm normal skill, but I seem to have good contribution to the game, but the team constantly lets me down
