wait for the enemy to do something; if he does nothing then yeah, play the tomb when its about to cap at 10 elixir, and if you don't have the tomb, play any other low elixir card (i love playing the spear goblins because they usually manage to reach the enemy tower and make a few hits)

ye, the key to winning is to wait until the opponent plays something.. that's why almost everyone @legendary arena has this elixir gatherer; everyone just farms towers (cannons, teslas etc) and barely pushes
