I have a funny story to share with you guys.
The reason SB's bash was in fact purely random is that all other bashes/crits actually use built-in wc3 functionalities in DotA 1. What this means is that Blizzard had implemented pseudo random distribution for those skills, so they carried over to DotA 1.
However, when it comes to SB's bash, it's actually TRIGGERED with wc3's coding language, JASS, and the people who coded it in obviously did not understand the difference between non-homogeneous random chance and pseudo random distribution, so they just coded how they knew to do it.
So yeah, the famed SB "pure random shit" is due to people being bad @ coding.
It's not a nerf nor a buff.
While there's very little chance of 5 consecutive bashes the same can be said for consecutive nobashes. Psuedo-random doesn't change anything in a large enough sample pool in the first place, it just makes it more consistent.
there was a bara in my game and the bashes were really frequently :)
