atos isnt bad either. very low cd and high range you can easily get rid on bubble.
It's a toss up between atos and force. While force is cheaper, atos has a much longer range, and offers a slow rather than potentially boosting enemies away from you. In addition, atos offers great stats for intelligence or strength heroes. Furthermore, the cooldown of atos is slightly shorter.
It really depends on what hero you're playing. If you play LC you get halberd or abyssal (expensive, but is an investment into lategame manfights), if you're lina you'll obviously go for euls. Sometimes getting a lvl1 dagon is good too, especially if you have utility for it out of popping linkens.

Kind of depends, on what you're popping it for, though, sometimes a 300 damage (after reductions) just doesn't do as much as some game breaking ultimate. Obviously you can count on teammates to pop linkens for you if you have no built in way to do so uh.... hahaha scratch that, no you can't.
