what do you guys think of Dragon lance on Morph? His base attack range is rubbish. Feels like a melee hero

its not good you need your 3 items (link eb manta) extremely badly and cant afford to delay it for lance and getting it as 4th item is kinda dumb plus disassembling it into butterfly and/or bkb which arent good items for morph (blfy esp)

you don't need linkens if they don't have fucked up single target spells, go straight skadi for stats, but most games you'll need linkens to combo it with your ult escape

u have super high armor already, the physical mitigation aspect of blfy is useless
you force enemies to buy mkbs which proc magical damage which morph is more afriad of (than physical)
bots linkens eb manta stanic skadi is 6 slot build, sometimes u might need a mkb/mkb or w/e. both satanic and skadi are super useful for morph too.
the rare times u get blfy is maybe when ure fighting bad mkb holders like am(?) or whatever examples u can think of

what do you replace with an mkb/daedalus? Manta or linkens? Or i guess it depends what kind of stuns/silences enemy has

daedalus is not worth switching out for anything IMO.
manta linkens are 100% needed i think
u probably choose between skadi or satanic
factors to consider:
do they have am? (am >>>> skadi)
how much control do you have? (low control skadi is good, high control => slow not needed + when people try to burst you => fissure (example) + satanic )
did you go bkb? (skadi bkb so no one kites ur bkb duration. Im aware satanic bkb is strong as well but still. satanic also gives way more total hp/sustain so factors that affect that is whether u have other frontliners + if u went bkb (since u probably take alot less dmg if u have bkb))

get mkb only if rl rl needed, this hero is kinda starved for slots

travel linkens ethereal (satanic or bkb) daedalus skadi is the ideal six slot imo
manta is needed only if they have silence

1500 is a lot tho

eb 1st item is not worth unless u have shit lane i think
and if u go that u need bottle 100% and preferably bots

Rushing eb is pointless since you dont have your adaptive maxed anyway. With linkens you can farm and push faster and get that eb at a decent time like 20 - 24 mins. You play him like a split pusher and you can always join fights like spectre with replicate or bots. He melts towers really fast.

why don't you get just yasha bottle bots instead of linken? i still don't see how is it core for morph

Play with high STR early and act as tank for team with 3K HP. Buy Soul Ring. Spam the Adaptive Strike for long stunz. Earn gold from assists. Transition to carry build by getting the normal shit.

Well i guess blademail rapes morph anyway because pure damage>armor so you need a bkb/satanic

Morph can shotgun people even with BM while he is in Waveform and thus invulnerable. Theoretically, at least, but I am pretty sure top Morphs can do that consistently.

Blademail doesn't really work against morph even if you have a way to force him to attack you because he'll just morph, I should know, played against farmed morphlings as LC, and the first thing you notice is that as soon as you duel he starts morphing to str, starts hitting like a wimp while he has fucking 4.5k hp, so you have to both hit really hard and have blademail on in order to mitigate the morphing problem (blademail + hit hard = he morphs to agility, he kills himself on blademail, he morphs to strength, you melt him since he has no armor).

I like to go ring of aquila , threads, midas then linkins.The e-blade after and then luxury items dependant on the situation

^the only reason I don't get armlet is that I want to hit buildings harder, so I get a deso for -armor and then work towards ac/heart/bkb/blademail/solar crest for survival/utility. I get blademail often when I'm up against hard hitters or I'm kinda behind. But I feel solar crest is kinda broken on the hero too, especially against opponents who can bash you, if you can get away with using solar crest, then PTA, then jump duel, you can give the enemy 25% miss chance and -10 armor, and you still have 25% evasion and 10 armor from solar crest. Usually people aren't that brain damaged/have escapes.

Against LC, most morphlings will build linkens so there is that :P.So even if you have Abyssal, Morph has plenty of time to replicate/wave out.

Also, LC can't really outdamage the str gain from morph, Blademail or not.
I mean with 500 duel damage maybe, but then thats practically impossible. And the game would have been over anyway much before that

I mean like morph gains 16 str per seconds so in a duel thats 4(?)x16x19=1216 hp or 304 HP/sec.

Deso AC works well against morphling because that's -12 armor. Duel is pretty long and you can actually kill a strength-biased morphling with something like 200 damage and if you're six slotted. Yeah, abyssal is necessary to break linkens, quickast as well, and that morphling has brain damage or lag or both.

I always skip Linkens unless it's really needed like versus bat or lc, redundant item.

Linkens is such a good item it gives you all attributes which morph loves and regen, not to mention the passive isn't just for long duration bkb piercing ultimate stuns is for evading any targeted debuffs stuns slows etc which makes you even more slippery.
