On sven i almost never get blink before yasha, unless you KNOW it will pay for itself quickly. Then again sven kill potential is nothing compared to a lvl 11 jugg. Honestly i'd wait on blink unless they have a mid or carry that would be ez kills with blink ult. If you can't get something important out of blink right away, just wait.
Yasha is better for farming. Idk i prefer going stats and letting smoke or supports set up what a blink could.
Don't forget that you can cross terrains and trees with blink, so it's not just 1200 distance cut every 12 seconds, mostly it saves you a lot of time. IMO you will get yasha faster with blink than the other way around, and it lets you get some kills.

i always get fury -> blink
as said a lvl 11 jugg has insane kill potential with dagger at 16-17 mins

u sort of have both hp and mp regen issues now that you dont get mom and are expected to use spin alot more
but i might be wrong since lots of juggs ive watched recently dont always go fury build, they go phase aquila drum diffusa manta etc.

Diffusal is stronk and great synergi with ulti+ spin and manta is great for ratting and synergis greatly with diffuusal with spin and tp u allways live mostly you dont farm stacks since 1 your teammates suck and 2 your so got daMn good at fighting.
Over to blink if you got blink you can blink while in Omni slash thus escape or target something you othwrwise wouldnt for examplw if you bounce off to a Lone some creepy you can just blink back into it instead of it ending :p

yasha first cuz you can farm dagger fast anyway and game is still not at the point where you can't walki n from fog and ulti or somehtign
you need more hp items os out of the two yasha. Or any decent player will two shot him before he gets his skills off. It's just not worth getting blink that early
Jugg are most versatile Carr for me.. any item would suit him. Deso + SB , Diffusal n Manta , Skadi + Butter, all viable DEPENDING on enemy heroes..That said, ONLY buy bf when u need to outfarm enemy carry in the long run.. otherwise buy other items..
Idk guys, I have a huge problem with hp on jug. Once you're out of spin he gets nuked so fast. Right clickers crush him once he's out of ult. I feel like going battlefury you're committing to farming, and lifesteal still might be needed or bkb or something. I have no idea when to go fight with him. If you really go aquila, bfury, blink you are going to be a glass cannon imo and only good for pickoffs.
Back in 6.83, the Ring of Aquila, Sange and Yasha, Phase, Mask of madness, Skadi build was pretty prevalent on him. Fast forward to 6.84, Battle fury is just too good on him now, i'm not sure if BF got buffed? Don't feel like checking, but might also have to do with meta shift as well, it's the like the perfect item to build on him. Even Manta is a bit more common on him than Sange and Yasha now, manta obviously scales better late, and S&Y did get a slight nerf if that means anything. (Maim no longer pierces spell immunity as of 6.86)
Drums are also pretty fucking strong this patch, they're like the best item, wouldn't be surprised if they got toned down slightly in 6.87, hope not though.

ppl generally get dagger on jugg way less often in this patch, and early dagger is even more weird. yasha, for sure.
If your enemy doesn't have tons of illusions/pets to clear, quit thinking BF.
Maybe it works when you have some shit like Enigma or Magnus(!) in your own team, but you could have done more with items that push you nearer towards the 0.40 sec mark.
About OP's question, you can get blink if you have trouble slashing people, e.g.: enemy too mobile and escaped before you finished your ulti. OR, you could use it when you have trouble escaping as well, e.g.: 1v5, slash some creeps, blink into the trees, tp.

@Übermensch im guessing you mean you solve the hp problems since yasha => manta/sny? well i sorta made the topic cos i noticed a common build was yasha into blink, then manta. and u'll probably get your spells off way easier with blink compared to yasha. but ur point is still true tho i guess
playstyle and meta shifts favour ur ass-kicking power rather than mobility nowadays, i suppose. too many early-mid game 5v5 engagements.
thats just a guess tho, what i said was more of a statistical observation rather than theorycrafting. i barely see juggers in my matches/comp dota going for blink nowadays, and thats all i rly know.
Yeah I can't seem to make the bfury build work unless I literally afk farm for 25 mins and in that case why not pick Sven or medusa? With battle fury and phase boots jug has under 900 hp lvl 10 it's just not enough. I'm going try wand, Aquila, drums, s&y and see how it goes.
blink should never be a core item, only situational. yasha is good for farm, blink only if you are wrecking. an aquila or drums is almost necessary on jugg cause of his mana problems.
@direwolf ure not supposed to rush bf or whatever unless u are 100% not needed in early fights which is pretty rare and im fairly sure u have more than 1k hp idk where you are pulling ur stats out from
you can go this build if u want to fight or similar (take out wand, put in aquila, or get all 3, or swap drum for yasha, more ward points w/e). and you generally get those items by 10-12 min so u are ready for early mid game fights
to you and anyone else who said fury is bad on him, etc etc, obviously some games fury is awful and stuff but the question im trying to ask is whether a yasha first or blink first synergises more in a game where the situation is where the fury route is the correct one

blink is good only if you're not all the dmg your team has so you can blink and kill the easy targets from background, manta is good for silence and splitpush.
as in blink I rarely rush it after bfury, I'll get manta usually first but I guess it depends.
for me it was always bf (phase aquila) >yasha/manta>dagger, never went bf>dagger i think

253.46 DPS w/o yasha, 327.6 w yasha => 29.2% increase in DPS (actually the calculations are abit off cos i didnt factor in some dmg getting amped by qb and some not)
mobility increase of yasha comparison to blink : yasha ms x (base +phase) x blink CD = 0.08x (305+45) x12 = 336 (blink @960 penalty,1200 max)
personally i always go dagger right after cos it lets me solo kill people + i think it makes me farm faster than a yasha would, i only get yasha if i need manta urgently or just straight pushing as 5
i feel the same way regarding farm speed for the sven => hotd => blink vs yasha idea too, though i dont play that hero
