if you want the current strongest hero to boost in mmr is arc warden, i have 95% winrate in 1-4k with arc

but the thing is, i don't get my winrate from only picking that hero, no matter how good my hero skill on that hero is.

no matter how perfect my micro is. you can't get any mmr out of just ''the hero''. no matter how much you know his mechanics

you need to get good in general, in the whole game not just 1 aspect of it.

i'd recommend doing my challenges if you're a carry player, usually they work like magic and get pretty much any 1k core player to 3k.

From watching hundreds of low MMR games I think 1.8k MMR is more toxic than 1.2k, at least on US servers. Maybe SEA is different.

But you are most likely going to get some toxic players at any mmr. Some people just have a bad day and take it out on dota to release the stress.

If you struggle to get past 1.2k MMR you most likely have mechanics far below average. You need to practice lasthits and pulls, practice ganks against bots for a while. Less stress. Don't play the whole game, just the first ten minutes then restart. Get to the point where you at least can start the game well.

@cookie i know how to play arc warden, i dont really know how to play him late game tbh. early game i just spam magnetic field and my flux. late game, i dont know what to do

well with that bad mmr and game sense you cant im sorry...maybe read all heroes magics and all items and then use brain what to pick build etc

dude, do you even read your own messages. you keep saying almost all how you're good. if you were good you'd be outside your mmr, your teammates aren't the reason that you're stuck in 1k. you said it yourself:

the reason enemy carry is fed because you took 20 minutes to make bfury making your support have to waste time babysitting and setting your farm up. meanwhile enemy carry can just gank...

any avg 6k+ carry finishes bfury + treads by 12 min in standard safelane.

anyways if you want to get out of 1k, just do my challenges you'll be 3k in no time.

p.s that's not how you play arc in the early game either.

@cookie you can rarely find a support in 1k match, especially in SEA. the moment you entered the picking phase someone says mid or feed and they fail miserably.

also, i mostly lane with a carry in 1k games

@subzero, it doesn't matter. when i smurf i have 95-99% winrate in 1k, no matter what my teammates pick.

easy ones:

1. 10 min- no creeps missed (82+ lasthits minimum)
2. 10 min- 80 lh/40 deny safelane, creeps can't enter either team's tower. if they do you reset
3. 10 min- 100 LH safelane
4. 30 min- 600 LH
5. less than 15 min- end the game(destroy enemy ancient)

advanced ones:

1. 11 min- 120 LH
2. 30 min- 800 LH
3. 10 min- 100 CS+(LH+DN counts) as morphling -> lvl 1 strenght morph and never level anything again, turn it on and don't turn it off. buy glove of haste and a set of tangoes, you'll constantly have only 20 damage.
4. less than 10 min- end the game(destroy enemy ancient)

all are done in lobby games, no bots 1v0

Noob here but keep up you are doing cause your win rate trend is improving.
I start at 1.5k but currently at 1.8k hope can reach 2k too. Mostly playing support.

you're partially wrong, he should watch miracle or any high mmr player games (i'd recommend to watch trough the game rather than videos).

but not to copy/paste their builds, but to understand why they build them.
actually to understand in general why they do stuff. the point of analyzing a game is to understand why someone does something, not what he does.

and this is THE fastest method to improve.

about 1-2 month ago , i was spamming sven/alcemist from 2300-2900 mmr .. and learn how to stack ancient or creeps ,,, stack ancient with sven's domi in low mmr bracket is OP cuz they wouldn't ward your ancint and get fast farm and xp (i mean its very fvcking fast like a cheat)... and you can wrecked them all easily in mid/late game.... search reference how to play sven in YTube

@Layangan i know how to stack, it's just my teammate keeps taking the ancient that i stacked and they still fail

as much as it's not your teammates fault to win/lose games

i actually remember a hilarious game where some 1k got mad at me that he tried to take my 5x ancient stack. he died 3 times in a row to the neutrals and abandoned XD

then just stack ancient not every hero can take ancient in early game .... just rush for domi then stacking for 3-4 stack .... take it with god strenght with 2 3 skill build (watch TY).... If your lane is hard or your lane partner have better last hist just go neutral creep(i mean you cant last hit any creep in that condition) in lev 5 or early .... well sometime i lose the game but most of them i won with this tactis the disaster is coming when sven got banned XD ... i will pick some op heroes like tinker or alc :D

Spam your best hero, not teh one you like, but the hero that you know all mechanics and has a 70%+ winrate

Hero you are comfortable with. Position you are comfortable with.

Be positive.

Getting mmr is a slow process, be patient.

Literally be 2k only if you know shit about the game. Watch any kind of tutorial videos.

Or just casually watch streams and you'll slowly start seeing things you could improve. (unless you 60 iq)

more seriously at 1k & 2k just practicing to be a good farmer make you win 95% of games the other 5% is if u picked a carry that suck late game & ur team refused to push & end before 30 min ( im looking at you alchemist , never pick this hero in this low shit mmr unless u're playing a party or u speak to ur team before game start that you gonna get six slotted by 20 min & gg push )

try to pick slark, sven, pa. Need low mechanical skill, good carry at low mmr, and strong at clash on 1k warfreak game with hitters vs hitters

I had this acc at 1.2k or something close to that awhile ago, smurfed and came back to it to raise mmr. At 2.8 now. Tbh and it sucks bc it'll get borning, but whatever hero you're best with, Just spam it. And number 1 for low mmr games is if your team picked 4 Carrys like the shit kids they are, pick pos 5 omni or cm and sup. In the end you wanting to carry with a team of 4 other Carrys will probably lose, remember it's mmr in the end so do whatever it takes to win, even if that means picking a sup. Also, never jungle in low mmr, kids can't comprehend how to jungle and gank safe lane or mid. 15 min afk jungling will probably lose the game for your team bc kids can't solo offlane without feeding
