Farm hard, sunstrike hard, farm hard, carry, win
In all srs I heard somewhere that invoker is quite a mid - lategame that makes up for his early game solidarity with sunstrike.
Standard last hit - deny - harrass - forge/cold combo mid while coordinating with your teammates with stuns/disables for early sunstrikes as the invoke timer early is horrid. (Assuming QE, quite newbie friendly for starting invokers)
Boots, gloves, basillus is your early after whatever you left fountain with, usually a null and a faerie and shared tangoes/iron branch.
Midas before 12 mins, ALWAYS use on the hard camp creeps largest and or catapults, (Check your next lanes creeps to see if it has a catapult, that means they do to)
With midas it shouldnt be too bad getting your end game items, Bots, Euls (for silencer .-. / comboes) aghs early drums doesnt hurt if youre pushing hard and well with your team.
You basically ask yourself, is my team fighting? Sunstrike? No? Farm. No Farm? Danger of Gank? Bots to another lane and farm smore. Team losing? Get that combo up and ready and start fighting and contributing, try not to get focused and blink on invoker is so damn good.
Failing to push? Consider a necro book, not enough stuns? consider a scythe.

Invoker is a extremely greedy pick this patch, he needs lvl 16 and agh's before properly fighting, all he can do before that is throw a few sunstrikes and cold snap, and maybe alacrity.

Hi there. I'm a noob but I want to learn how to play Invoker. He seems like a very interesting hero. I've already memorized the spells but I know that that is not all there is. So, do you guys have any tips regarding this hero? Laning, item timings, different builds, common scenarios and what to do, etc. Just about anything you know about the hero, dump it all here. haha
