Best you could've done, that way you'll get to know the limitations of the hero (timing, gold dependance, aiming of the skill, being counter-picked, and many more). This if you're willing to learn ofc.
There's no OP hero in this game, meta ofc always has heroes in disadvantage and others too strongly benefited, but it's mostly about picking with sinergy to your team needs and trying to counter the adversary or avoiding being countered by them. This applies to items and skill builds as well.
I'd say it's mandatory to play some games with every single hero in the game to at least have a feeling of how that hero is from the inside (cooldowns, range, cast point, aiming, damage, item effects, etc.), there's no other way to predict your enemy moves or calculate yours if you don't do so. Duuuude I fuckin had to do this in dota1, and that shit was rough. Now you have a demo mode to have at least the quickest insight, watching live high mmr games, comfy replay system, youtube full of pro videos, tutorials, etc.
This game is deep as fuck, if you want easy shit it's not for you

I was playing shadow shaman once and had 32 health while ench was wailing on me. But her projectile speed is so slow my blink actually came off cooldown and i actually disjointed the last hit that wud have killed me. The best way to get out of sniper ulti is puck, sd, od, and magic immunittmy (oracles thingy, repel, rage), and huskar.
Basically everything u said has counterplay to it, u just dont realize it and are whining abt it because u dont understand that tusk cant snowball onto a weaver who shukuchis away, and earthshaker will get bursted too fast to do much by a timbersaw. Snipers ulti is only a problem if ur playing a hero without a gap close to kill his squishy ass first, like pa, or antimage. Also spark pounce is not a stun and is very easy to miss and honestly you shouldn't die to it unless you are very squishy or very out of position.
Chaos knight stun is luck based which can either fuck you up or him up and tusk snowball has a range limit.
Its easy to play around them if you just keep your limitations in mind and again they are screwed if you have a Bkb.
Lastly what do you mean by projecting?

Against a sniper though blink without good position is useless isn't it? I mean a sniper who can see you coming with a blink can easily cancel it, what fucks them up is a block nk from the fog or a shadowblade which they don't see coming which is rare in my bracket.
