Any really imo, it's far more important to be able to rely on your team for defensive rotations and ganks just as they'd rely on you for the same. You can be facing a very aggressive lane against you and literally no matter what you pick, the answer to your struggle would be to have someone rotating to the same lane. And carry dem TPs to TP to the other lanes when you see that your teammates get initiated on.
Mistake I usually make with the latter is that I wait for quite some time before starting the TP, always asking myself if my teammate would make it and then by the time I get to the answer "no", it's already too late, so if you see it happening, just pop that TP, you can walk back to your lane :)
I'd say KOTL. He's got:
- Good harass.
- Mana supply.
- Mana Burn.
- Blind.
- And the ability to summon heroes to you.
