with this current patch, maybe. in the previous patch, tempo and map controlling was very important and game winning, greedy offlaners and carries such as void and anti mage resulted in certain loss. in the recent patch, they gave a little value to split pushing and made it harder to 5 man and take towers, but I still think 5 man and setting the tempo is game winning.

The 2 minute gap is a problem. In other word, your offlaner has nothing to offer to the team for 2 minutes. Compare void to a nyx for example. It's not entirely about teamfight. It's about tempo. There is a reason void is not picked anymore. It's not my opinion that void is out of the meta, it's also pro players' opinions. Alliance doesn't even pick it anymore. They did once, against secret in Kiev qualifiers. Void had to buy aghs because he just couldn't contribute enough to the team. I dont know if a 27% Winrate on the qualifiers isn't enough evidence, what is.
yeah idk why people say offlane void is greedy, just get ur vlads then go push outers with chrono up
