if you want to win mid just pick viper. There are actually like no standard mids that win a lane against viper.

^But viper doesnt scale well in late game. Thats why i always avoid picking viper

he actually doesn't scale as badly as most people think. A lot of it is just getting the balance between damage and survivability right. He's also a fairly versatile hero and can change up his build depending on the game.

Razor, Ursa, Viper are best counters.

QoP is very weak versus TA. Inb4 "qop sentry ward". You don't need to skill Meld vs QoP.

^im not a ta player but i think refraction give more damage than meld why would you max meld against ember .

ember and tinker are some of the better ones i can think of. Viper too if youre about that life

Tinker with march is fine, but doesn't really exactly win the lane against a decent TA. just enough to hold out in the laning phase.

Just watch Dendi take a big dump on TA mid with a Jakiro.

I was thinking of a similar thread but for tinker. Who beats him mid 1v1, assume no ganking and rune luck?

I also have some trouble with TA mid, but I don't see her enough to have a solid dislike for matching up against. All I know is that you don't put SF or puck mid against TA. I know Pudge can beat TA very handily, but that's just in laning sense; and its hard to get teammates on board with mid Pudge anymore.

Edit: basically, from what I can gather from the VHS gods, DO put heroes with DoT to quickly cancel out the refractions. DON'T put someone who relies on nukes. Please correct me on this?

If I were tinker I have some troubles with a pure 1v1 sniper since he can stay clear of my cast range and is hard to punish that you'd eventually lose to a last hits game. A good invoker is pretty tilting too.

Viper or ember. QoP will work against a bad TA. Venomancer can fuck up her farm but will just end up feeding.

A good Lina player can use the range to their advantage too but it's a scenario where you outplay more than outhero.
