Always go random when you practice guaranteed 100% to work, Also try playing with unfair bots atleast once and see if you can stomp them.
Just play it will come back to you eventually.

^ so i start playing dota after 4 month break, when im playing carry my skill decreased heavily that my average lh from 300 to 150
and why roaming feels so weak right now? i play riki with early 10 kills but the enemy still can comeback and my dogshit carry doesnt farm and just stick with me because im free kill
