Heroes like venomancer and necro are still labelled as supports sooooo....
^ meanwhile i have to save my entire team from a dagon necro
yeah slardar and riki are technically carries (slardar to a lesser extent) who play as a low position because they don't need gold to be useful.
and necro with veno don't technically need gold for their spells to be useful its just the survivability is much better when they are played in a core role.

they are carry(slardar and riki) but they not farm creep like any other carry they farm hero
icefrog/valve/dbuffstaff did nothing wrong

Heroes like riki and slardar are still labeled as carry, but they dont farm and they dont do what carries do they roam so...
