they lost the 2nd game against newbee because of sumail.
rtz and uni were taking bot barracks while newbee were sieging. newbee retreated to defend and sumail chased them (underfarmed mirana with 2 supps chasing 4 enemies with a godlike streak OD)
Obviously they all died because sumail always plays way too agressive like the teenie he is, and newbee could end the game. so either sumail is to blame for ignoring crit, or crit for making a bad call.
he tilts all the time, he looses one game and plays like shit in the following games. his "in your face" mid playstyle gets punished nonstop by enemy supports.
kicking someone would be bad for EG. they need to sort out their issues and let crit develop as a captain. they had good results before TI.
crit and sumail need to grow up (sumail literally and crit needs to grow as a captain)

I'm just thinkin that RTZ can't realize himself as a player whie he's not in a central position.
Sumail seems bad in every game.
1st game against Empire - he was walking with a streak alone.
2nd game - he lost as puck to mirana.
In other lost games he was doing so much trash moves, i can't believe. Always bited, doesn't check inventories, doen't control couriers. Oh my god.

Lol, u can be a pro CS player even in 30. Why u talk that about Dota, that game doesn't even require that much reaction. Age is not an issue untill u are at least 35 or higher.
i have watched 50 games of EG in about 1 year, i can safely say that sumail is underperforming hard since Epicenter.

I don't know how anyone watches TI and thinks Sumail was the reason they lost. When even Day9 can see your drafting strategy has serious weaknesses, clearly the team captain is the problem. Cr1t's drafting was acknowledged as horrible by literally EVERY analyst, and his play in game, particularly as Winter Wyvern, was quite short of stellar.

His hero pool seems limited but he's still quite good. I don't think he's adapted to this meta where there's a ton going on at mid. He wants to 1v1 everyone and that's not where mid is at right now, it doesn't matter if mechanically he can out cs and deny every other mid if he can't see ganks coming and turn them around.
His attitude seems really bad. Did you see him on the broadcast? He basically said he's the best mid in the world and only reason they are losing is cus people gank him and his supports don't back him up.
I still don't think he's the issue with eg though.

It's definitely not on a single player. Who the fuck knows what their chemistry is really like, we have no idea, but from an outsider view it doesn't seem that great. Then you see interviews with teams like vp and og where they are basically like family and talk about having never been on a team like that before. Idk if eg has that. They seem more like all business, just there to get the job done. I think fear and ppd were kind of their glue. But that's all conjecture, I really have no idea.
Sumail not the issue though, even though I think the weakest part was drafting and support play, it's like the whole team just needs to gel more and work on specific strats. They'll be fine.
I think they could take a page from vp's playstyle. Eg has always, since ti5 winning days, relied on the individual brilliance of their players to outperform in lane, make space, farm an advantage and win the game late. They sometimes roll out drow strats, but in general they don't pick anything spicy like run at you heroes. Look at what vp does, ursa mid picks, viper, they will fight you all day and be aggressive. Meanwhile universe's signature heroes are like enigma and dark seer, major farmers. Sumail needs to start picking storm again and try some aggressive shit. Rtz should pick like jug or pa or something to spice it up. I just think their playstyle is stale.
Eg doesn't draft like that
U can't force a playstyle like that on to a team.
Theyre chemistry may be different but they have played with each other for a while, as a team for a year and even before that universe, zai, rtz, and sumail have played with each other at various times. I think they just choked hard.

mirana is a super good pick not just for arrow though. Nukes early, scales well as a core late, escape, good ult.

honestly i think he's worst player of EG. Crit drafts are bad but in draft stage every member of EG takes his part while picking. So that's not only his fault, while sumail s ruining non-stop, like he got paied fir it. 322

All mid players are very skilled, but he's a garbage u know.
8kPlayer alway outplayed by other midlaners, feeding couriers, can't even check FieryFire in inventory of an oposite player so getting bited so hard.
He's that bad, that EG supports always have to babysit that kid, while RTZ and Univers playing solo to creat more space for that unskilled Pakistan. Lina and Storm a bit Nerfed = He loses games.
I'm so disappointed in EG right now. I see Zai, RTZ and Universe tryharding so much, while that player throws and throws and throws so much.
Should they put RTZ mid once again?
