Pa/storm/SF all depends on u
and dont pick invoker if u dont want to drop mmr
Play heros you are good at, not sf, invoker
Keep hero pool small, most dont have the time to learn many heros and roles.
Watch high mmr player's play your heros to see what they do.
Buy the right items
Ward for yourself if needed
Try pick last if you can.
Work on things you have control over, ie your own play.
During the game you need to ask your self questions all the time.
Ie
Who can kill me?
Who can I kill?
What do I need for this hero to not kill me?
What items do they have?
What items are they going for?
What's items they have that can kill me?
Who's missing?
This will help you make better choices in your items and movments
Lol i was sitting at 4.8k and now im back to 4.4k, i wouldn't blame the heroes but mostly on those throwers, that's all, hero ain't problem
The things that block my way to 5k are :
Thrower (usually they got tilted playing safe and get rekt by bristle or playing mid but keep getting ganked or someone stole his rune)
The "core only" players (these people usually "pinned" mid and safe as soon as everyone done connecting to the game, most of the time you will find 2 peoplr "pinned" mid and just be ready to get invoker first pick and the other guy crying)
The "trust me" guy (I'm a booster, I'm boosting this account, i sell account and boom 20 mins into the game, crying with his 3 - 10 score by playing meepo)
And myself (sometimes after i lose one game and got tilted, i will keep playing again and again, those again and again would be another -25 and -25)
So don't push yourself too much, like if your first 2 or 3 game is a loss, then stop playing solo q and find se friends to play with
@14 it's your fault. you couldn't carry your team despite all the things you mentioned. every solo player that farmed to 6k+ went through the same shit you experienced. they raised their game and won regardless.
It's what I realized when I dropped from 4.3k to 4k. It's not like I was getting any more roamer 0-8 MKs, or retarded HCs/mid laners. It's because I wasn't playing well either and trying out stuff that's not 100% my forte.
In 4K+ there isn't much room for fucking around.
Ya I still don't know wtf is wrong with me , I am thinking I will never return to 4.5k right now ,I am just playing so dam awful . I just suck at everything right now . I'll be happy just to return to high skill at this point lol .
Second or third pick mirana. Almost works everytime if u play mirana roaming if u hit all ur arrows. Play unranked to practice ur arrows, once confident then go ranked and stomp kids with arrows :D
Is this the thread where us 4ks complain about a drop in a few hundred MMR and how we can't climb back up?

Hey DB. I used to be 4.5k player, then i stop playing coz my pc have died.
I started training Dota for a month, but every ranked game im getting LC'ed, or SB'ed.
Mostly i play mid, if team lets me, so what hero do i use for 3.3k ranked games to reach 4k mark soon
Any suggestions?
