As a person plaYing nyx a lot i can say that Dagon is usually the tool that removes the difference between the amount of hp enemy has, and the amount of damGe you can do. It gives you solo kill lotential and it is viable only early game, so there is no other choise of it, you must rush it, and after that whatever.
So basically if you are playing core nyx (i mostly play him as offlane core, he has good hp regen and third skill for a reason) you must go dagon, and if you play support who gives a fcuk what you will make, since any good item will take age to be bought

Aghs has kinda fallen out of favor, I usually see nyxes going more utility like force and euls and lotus, tho if I'm honest, diffusal into manta sounds much better.

Stop buying dagon. All you need is blink aghs. That's it. That's all the items you need to be useful. Seeing a nyx rush dagon in upper 4k is insulting. Would you rather blow up/severely damage the enemy supp or permastun and constantly manaburn them every few seconds? You even get massive regen. Your dagon becomes more useless when the enemy gets pipe.
Seriously, the next nyx player who buys dagon in my mmr gets a straight up report. I don't wanna see that trash. Bloody 3k players buy blink aghs. Stop embarrassing yourselves.
