My PC (i5 4670K, 16 GB DDR3 ram 1600mhz, GTX770 2 GB) has big problems with Dota after 7.00 update. Interesting is, that my laptop i5 4200U 840GTm 4GB, 12 GB DDR3 ram 1600mhz can handle Dota on mid settings relativly good. no fps drops and avg. 50fps. But my PC on high settings run dota on 100 fps and after 5 minutes, or earlier, i hava 20 fps. I tried some console settings with -dx9/11 etc. I shutted down steam overlay. I have clean instalation of Win 8.1. When I push alt+tab on desktop and back, it jump to for example 40 fps and goes down again. Sometimes I can play Dota on 90 - 100 fps for 20 minutes and than back to 20... I really dont know why. I tried aplications like GPU-Z, FurMark to monitor my GPU, and it seems that gpu is working good.
Any solution/hint/tip/help?
PLS help me, I really want to enjoy Dota again. I hate LoL and this crap. This is only game what Im playing and i want to play it again. Laptop is too small and too bad colors. And 50 fps I have only when a laptop has good mood.
Any help without buying new HW? I know people, who can play dota on worse GPU with 80 fps on high settings.. So HW cant be a problem in this way..
