Well, i have a feeling unranked mmr effects everything more than you know....
It might not be the definite number, but it might act as your base number. The computer might put that number and matches you up and down 250 mmr according to your win or lose records.
As for turbo, the computer is more likely to put you into a game with lower tier players. To encourage new players i think... But once in awhile, i can see it matches my level of play. But of course in turbo mode bad plays turn into shit in seconds. You have to pick heroes that can salvage the whole team most of the time.
