    the hero is medusa, and she has 55% winrate in all brackets except 4k.

    to me that is very weird. usually i imagine heroes are either upward sloping (heroes that get stronger in more experienced hands), or downard sloping (heroes that weaker because people know how to play around them in higher mmr). Then there are other heroes with weird u-shaped ones, or just really strong in some middle bracket (n-shaped) like AM. N shapes can be explained by hero becoming strong as people get more proficient at the game in terms of farming and split pushing (3k and 4k), but then fall off in 5k when ppl learn how to deal with that better.

    but i wanna hear people's explanation for dusa who drops-off for no reason in 4k bracket. she sits at 50% there.

      probably people firstpicking her into nyx am but then i dont see why wouldnt that happen in 5k as well

        wait no its because weekly winrates are garbage because dotabuff resets them every week or some shit

          Maybe popular counterpicks? Nyx assasin and AM may be put in capable hands in 3-4k already as you said. And they may be putting in more to counter the draft because they want to get theat 5k or divine or whatever. I
          don’t really know. Maybe in 5k above supports are super competent and stack and do all those shit needed for medusa to thrive. And in lower brackets she can just farm without all that pressure that will come from actively trying to shut her down

            the problem in 2k against dusa is that no one pushes so the game goes till late, i believe in 4k people know how to push.
            But in 5k she might have a higher win rate because of better supports and farm rate?
