troll can be punished hard if your team deosnt give u space to farm. highly dependent on farm such as bkb and sny without that you can be easily kited. the battle fury route requires a flawless lane which is highly unlikely in our bracket
you are better of picking heroes that can contribute more solidly than troll earlier and farm such as

clinkz
luna
lycan
jugg
void
lifestealer
yes and no. He does everything well but is just a little weaker than his counterparts right now. Like a luna farms quicker, fights as early, pushes just as hard but doesn't get kited near as badly. Troll has very exploitable weaknesses.
If ur goal is to gain mmr play more tempo controlling heros like clock, slark which can solo kill enemy with 1/2 items, or just spam ur fav hero/which ur good at!
sure in this bracket troll is fine and the good point is he isnt meta so he will not get banned often or picked.

Is troll a complete hero who can farm well, win team fights and also push towers and eventually win the game single handedly and not depending too much on teammates.
And one important question, is he squishy??
