Frankly, Io is so fucking broken on offlane.
Io + 1 = gg
Examples:
Io + Doom
Io + Underlord
Io + Axe
Io + Undying
Io + etc...

I mean Io + Doom with unholy aura = insta gg and rage quit.
most offlane heroes coupled with a support is enough to wreck safelane.
Doom+Lich
Axe+Pugna
Undying+Veno
IO+LC
for example. They'd have more luck farming in jungle.
to deviate from the classic two stun heroes or healer plus axe or bristle etc
try a combo of any of these heroes
pugna bane lich darkwillow kotl warlock aa enigma visage skywrath
a lane that has any two from the above heroes is guaranteed cancer
Genuinely ask, why AA is a threat on offlane? Cold feet + stun? Or chilling touch?
Undying/BB + KotL is "fun", imo

This is my list based on my experience :
Axe + Lich : Lich 3rd skill denied ur ranged creep and axe harrass the enemy.
Sand King + Leshrac/Omniknight/Zeus : This is nuclear early combo.
i really enjoy rekt enemy safelane.
any recommendation duo?
